It's a long road!

We were able to catch up on some needed sleep this morning and headed out of Ohio around 11am. The ride was pretty uneventful except for some really bad riddles and jokes that were being traded via walkie talkies (some real groaners). Guess where we stopped for lunch? Check out this picture and see if you recognize the man sitting with the kids?

Yep, can you believe it? We went to the original KFC in Corbin, KY. It is the home of Harlan Sander's Cafe and Museum. The kids thought it was fun. It's finger lickin good!

At 9pm we pulled into Holiday Inn Express, Cedartown, GA. Check out what we were welcomed by:

MHCC stands for Murphy Harbst Children's Center. Isn't that too cool!?!

We unloaded and ordered pizza. Everyone retired to their appointed rooms by 10:45. Breakfast is at the hotel at 7:45 and we will be meeting on the Carlson room for devotions to start the day. Our work day starts at 9am tomorrow. Stay tuned for more excitement!

Everyone is doing great. It is an awesome group of kids this year and should be barrels of laughs. See you tomorrow!
